Let me explain:
Most grocery stores in Pori have scales set to a height similar to the scale on the right. If you have normal eyesight, or are blind and tall, this is a perfectly acceptable height for a scale.
If you're short, or visually-impaired and short like me, the scale on the right is the bane of your existence. The scale on the left, however, is a wonderful thing - especially if you're buying any produce numbered 1-50. The scale on the right is okay if I'm buying something in the mid hundreds to lower 200s, but I don't think I ever have. Bananas are 12, and there's no way in Hell I would have been able to find the 12 without reaching up and counting the individual buttons with my fingers like I normally have to do, which sometimes results in me pushing the wrong button several times.
Some braille would be nice, or a scale that yells at me, but for now I'm quite happy with it simply being lower.
Thanks for understanding, Citymarket. I appreciate the thought.
